Give a Little Holiday Cheer
At the heart of Midwood Gives & Gathers is giving back to our neighbors in need. There are two ways to donate.
- A toy drive supporting local families. Bring a new, unwrapped toy and help make the holidays a little brighter for a neighbor in need.
- Buy tickets to our 50/50 raffle. Half of the money will go to one lucky winner, and the other half will support HUGCLT.
HUGCLT is a volunteer-powered Charlotte nonprofit that helps local families meet essential needs with dignity. Its programs provide groceries, diapers, personal-care items, pet supplies, and other necessities to neighbors experiencing hardship. HUGCLT makes every contribution go a remarkably long way - just $1 can help provide more than 50 pounds of food. Your support of Midwood Gives and Gathers will help this dedicated organization continue caring for people and pets throughout our community.
The raffle links are live NOW and we will draw the winner at the end of Fall Crawl! Volunteers will also be out and about during Fall Crawl in case you want to buy more tickets!
You don’t have to attend any event to win the raffle!
$5 for 1 entry
$20 for 5 entries
$30 for 10 entries
$50 for 20 entries
You do not need to be present to win; the winner will also be notified via phone/email. Buy tickets now.
Make a Holiday Ball
Keep the spirit of Running of the Balls alive by creating your own festive Holiday Ball!
- $20 — Build-your-own Holiday Ball
Holiday Ball supplies must be ordered in advance. Order your ball supplies here, so we can have everything ready for you at the event.
And yes, the Running of the Balls will live on! We’re creating a festive route through the neighborhood and inviting local run clubs to join in. Whether you’re a serious runner or prefer a leisurely holiday stroll, keep an eye out for Holiday Balls making their way through Plaza Midwood this season.
Bring the kids. Bring a neighbor. Bring a toy.
Come make a Holiday Ball, take a photo with Santa, enjoy some holiday treats, cheer on the runners, and spend a little time together as a neighborhood.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
