The Spirit is Plaza Midwood's quarterly newsletter, featuring neighborhood news and events along with great features on local businesses, schools and neighbors. Delivered free of charge to all Plaza Midwood residents, it has an overall circulation of nearly about 2,500 in print and hundreds more digitally. Find back issues of The Spirit HERE.
The Plaza Midwood e-newsletter is distributed monthly via email to more than 2,000 neighbors. It contains a calendar of events, updates on news and features on prominent issues facing the neighborhood.

PMNA hosts about 10 annual events each with their own sponsorship opportunities, the largest being Winter Fling, Home Tour, Midwood Maynia and Fall Crawl. PMNA also hosts several other events that fluctuate from year to year.

The Spirit Newsletter
The Spirit is Plaza Midwood's quarterly newsletter, featuring neighborhood news and events along with great features on local businesses, schools and neighbors. It is delivered free of charge to all Plaza Midwood residents and has an overall circulation of nearly about 2,500 in print and hundreds more digitally.
The Spirit has four editions:
- January (copy, ad and payment deadline December 5)
- April (copy, ad and payment deadline March 5)
- July (copy, ad and payment deadline June 5)
- October (copy, ad and payment deadline September 5)
We offer discounted rates for annual purchases (all four editions) and for Plaza Midwood Merchants Association members, along with any merchant who also sponsors another PMNA event.
Advertisers can also sponsor individual stories, such as our merchant, neighbor and educator of the quarter features.
Premium ads are in full color. All others in black and white. Premium ads are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

There's many options through out the year to align your brand with neighborhood events. Each event has several sponsorhisp levels to fit any budget.
When providing logos for your sponsorship please keep in mind that logo files must be in .pdf, .jpg, .tiff, .png or .eps format and 300 dpi in resolution.
Typically occurs between Feb. 15 and March 5

Midwood Maynia & Home Tour
Occurs the first weekend of May
Pricing for Maynia and Home Tour sponsorships can be discounted in conjunction with in-kind donations for the events. PMM members and sponsors of multiple events also receive a discounted rate. All sponsorships are tax deductible. Sponsorships for tour homes are limited. For more information or to become a sponsor, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Note: For acknowledgement in Spring issue of The Spirit, sponsorship must be confirmed by March 5.
Home Tour Title Sponsor - $2,500 - Exclusive level reserved for one person or business. Includes full Platinum package plus credit in all news releases and opportunity to participate in pre-event media coverage, largest logo on banner at amphitheater, largest logo on event posters and advertising.
Home Tour Platinum Sponsor - $1,000 - Includes credit in all news releases, name/logo on Home Tour programs, name/logo on Home Tour ticket table banner, acknowledgement in e-newsletter and The Spirit newsletter, included in event level social media posts, name/logo with link on PMNA event web page and Facebook event, 4 tickets for Home Tour and 4 t-shirts.
Home Tour Gold “Premium” Sponsor (home sponsor) - $750 - **Spots are limited and all requests must be approved by the Tour committee** Includes name/logo on Home Tour tickets/programs and posters, name/logo on Home Tour ticket table banner, acknowledgement in e-newsletter and The Spirit newsletter, one individual social media post per home, name/logo with link on PMNA event web page and Facebook event. Name on signage in front of sponsored home plus exhibit/product table in an individual home. Includes 2 tickets for Home Tour and 2 t-shirts. For 2022, the sponsor fee is waived if sponsor provides food and/or drink samples for 750+ tour guests from 10am-4pm on Saturday.
Home Tour Silver Sponsor (PMM partner) - $250 - Plaza Midwood Merchant Partners will be highlighted in event promotions as businesses in the area where tour guests can get a special discount on event days by sharing their Home Tour tickets. Merchants can determine any discount that makes sense for their business. Includes acknowledgement in e-newsletter and summer issue of The Spirit newsletter, at least one group social media post, name/logo with link on PMNA event web page, and option of exhibit table at Home Tour ticket sales location.
Home Tour Bronze Sponsor (gift basket donor) - Donated Products to place within each of the homeowner’s gift baskets. Option to raffle products or place flyers/coupons/cards multiple homes. Framed acknowledgement on display in multiple homes and in one group social media post for gift baskets.
