Winter Fling

Plaza Midwood’s 2017 Winter Fling is in the books. Thanks to all who attended and helped us raise nearly $8,500 for PMNA’s upcoming projects, including a push to add dog waste containers throughout the neighborhood.

The event wouldn’t have been possible without contributions from so many great community members:

Thanks to Legion Brewing for playing host, to Roots Catering for some amazing food, and to Two Scoops Creamery and Undercurrent Coffee for finishing the night off properly.

Thanks to our musicians, Mike Kelleher and New Local, who both sounded exceptional and kept the party rocking.

Thanks to Village at Commonwealth, City Church of Charlotte and Cruise Carts for helping with parking and transportation.

Thanks, of course, to all our volunteers who helped make the event a success.

And, as much as anything, a big thanks to all our generous silent auction donors. Every item in the silent auction was a donation from someone who is concerned about keeping our community great. The profits raised from the silent auction go directly to PMNA. It’s one of the major sources of funding we have for the year, and we cannot express our thanks enough to all those who gave something to make this year’s auction a success.

We’re a community here in every sense of the word, and as neighbors, we ask you shop, dine, drink and play locally. Support the businesses that support Plaza Midwood.
