The Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides a vehicle for people to contribute to the betterment of Plaza Midwood and the surrounding communities. The association was organized in August, 1975, and bylaws were adopted in February, 1976.
Members work with residents, local officials and area businesses on joint ventures and initiatives like tree banding, alleyway clean-up days, and the Midwood Park Community Garden that help make this area one of the nicest areas to live in Charlotte. Whether it is organizing the Midwood Maynia neighborhood festival or donating time and money to a local elementary school, PMNA volunteers take advantage of a wide variety of activities to give back to the community.
