Over the last year we have had great results in crime reduction, almost 50%, and hope to continue that trend. Our biggest support and anchor has been Kilgo United Methodist Church. They have really opened their doors and front lawn to our efforts. We held National Night Out on their front lawn, our neighborhood meetings are in their basement, and the pastor is always the first to volunteer when we need help.
On Nov 29th we will once again use them to get our neighbors out of their houses, on to our streets, get to know their neighbors and fight crime by being visible, something criminals hate.
Please join us on Nov 29th at 5:00 pm for our neighborhood tree lighting and Christmas festival, Kilgo United Methodist Church 2121 Belvedere Ave, Charlotte NC.
Hope to see you there. GET TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS!!
