    I received this infomation from a home security company, and plan to have him demonstrate this equipment at our next Neighborhood Watch meeting.  Here is his infomation and website incase you want to have him demonstrate before the meeting.

    Hello,
     
    My name is Scotty Jones and I am working with a new home security company here in Charlotte called Secure Homes. Our mission is to help reduce the amount of crime, particularly home break-ins in the Charlotte area. We have found that Mecklenburg County alone has more home invasions per capita than any other county in the United States!
     
    We have developed a product, called the Secure Lock, that is being promoted by local law enforcement as a needed tool to help reduce crime here in Charlotte. It is a simple, inexpensive, and a yet very effective device for stopping home invasions.

    I have had mine installed and really like the product.  We have decided to have Secure Homes come to our Oct. 22nd quarterly meeting and demonstrate for the neighborhood.

    They have offered a special install rate, based on the number of people interested, less than advertised on their website. 

    I will have a sign up sheet for installing at the next meeting or you can email me, pmnwatch@aol.com.

    If you purchase and mention you live in Plaza Midwood, you will be given a discounted rate.  They will also be at our Oct. 22 6:30 Quarterly Neighborhood Watch meeting at Kilgo United Methodist Church.  Still like mine, although thankfully it has not been tested by a criminal, but any added security is worth it.

    We truly appreciated being able to present at your Neighborhood Watch meeting last night. I hope I was able to provide the residents who were there with some good information. If anyone has any question just have them call me and I will be happy to answer them.
     
    As I said at the meeting, since we were able to come out and present to some people, we want to offer all residents of Plaza Midwood a discount on the Secure Locks. We normally sell the Secure Locks for $99.99 for the first door and $79.99 for each additional door. We are going to take $20 off the first door price, which will make all each Secure Lock $79.99. We will then take an ADDITIONAL 15% off the entire order!
     
    That price will include the Secure Lock, installation, as well as the Secure Lock guarantee. Our hope is that all homes will be equipped with the Secure Lock thus we are trying to make this as affordable as possible. I hope everyone will look at door strengthening as a something practical and very important. This is a one-time cost and a great way to protect your home, your valuables, and your families.

    I would like to offer a new price for the Secure Lock to residents of Plaza Midwood. We would like to see the Secure Lock in as many homes as possible and do not want price to be a deterrent. 
     
    The new price will be $59 per door.
     
    That includes the Secure Lock, installation and  the Secure Lock Guarantee. Our hope is that more and more people will realize the significant increase in security that the Secure Lock offers at an extremely low price compared to other security options.     I had two of these installed on my front and back doors. Installation was professional, quick and easy. It is quite obvious that they make the doors much stronger.
