In 2017, your PMNA membership dues helped us with so many amazing events and projects.
We held our annual Winter Fling, Fall Crawl and Midwood Maynia and Home Tour events.
We added dog waste stations throughout the neighborhood, including our first ever BARKtoberfest event for the grand opening.
We organized our annual Midwood Gives Back campaign, collecting hundreds of dollars and thousands of pounds of donations for local schools and charities.
We had four amazing movie nights in Midwood Park.
We adopted a street and have held quarterly events to clean up The Plaza.
We hosted a cheer station for marathon runners, a 5K in the fall, a Christmas Ball workshop and fun run.
We donated to our local schools, bringing gifts and meals to teachers and helping support programs for students.
We brought art to the neighborhood through the Inside|Out project, and hosted a bike tour of each installment.
We planted new trees along The Plaza.
We worked with C-DOT to test bike lanes on The Plaza and supported the Stroll & Roll initiative to make Plaza Midwood safer for bikers and pedestrians.
We teamed with the Merchants Association on great projects like Midwood Markets and the ongoing Nook Mural project.
We worked with the city to get funding for free tree banding supplies for neighbors.
We maintained our wonderful community garden in Midwood Park.
We worked with developers and the city on neighborhood improvement and safety projects, including bringing walking patrols from CMPD to the business district.
And that’s just a part of the work that has gone into our community this year.
What we ask in return is that our neighbors continue to support the efforts of PMNA by paying their annual dues — just $25!
We haven’t raised membership rates in 30 years, though we certainly would appreciate anyone giving more. After all, your support for PMNA is 100 percent tax deductible.
The annual membership year is January 1st – December 31st, so all memberships expired January 1, 2018.
We welcome additional tax-deductible contributions to our capital campaign which fund special improvement projects like neighborhood signage. Thank You Neighbors!
If you would like a membership sign for your yard – please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to get these scattered around the ‘hood to remind neighbors to pay their annual dues. We will collect the signs at the end of February and re-use them in future years. Thanks!
