PMNA Fall Crawl 2017
October 28 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
If the leaves are changing, the kids are picking out their costumes & the air is getting cooler, it can mean only one thing… Fall Crawl!
Plaza Midwood’s annual Fall Crawl and Cankerworm Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 28, and this year will be better than ever.
First off, the bugs: We’ve all been attacked by a swarm of cankerworms falling from tree limbs. This is your chance to keep the little worms off your clothes and out of your trees. PMNA will be selling all the tools you’ll need to wrap your own trees at a bare minimum price (see below for details) and you can pick it all up at Fall Crawl. For advance orders, email Udo Robitsch at email@example.com.
As for the festivities:
11:30 to noon: Kids’ costume parade (parents and pups are welcome, too). We’ll march from Midwood Park to The Vine, with a chance to show off your kids’ cool costumes and mingle with neighbors.
Noon: Trunk or Treat at The Vine. A safe, fun way to trick or treat.
12:30 to 6 p.m.: Fun in the park
Live music on stage in Midwood Park will last all day long.
Beers from Birdsong Brewery will be on tap. All proceeds go directly to the PMNA general fund and help pay for great projects like neighborhood beautification and our new dog waste stations.
There will be tons of fun for the kids, too, including bounce houses and games.
For the competitive folks, we’ll also be holding the Inaugural PMNA Corn Hole Tournament.
Teams of two will face off in a single-elimination corn hole battle, with the winners earning great prizes. (More details on that to come.)
Each team’s entry fee will be $25 and will come with two free beer coupons.
We’ll also have tons of local vendors out at the park. If you’re interested in a table at Fall Crawl, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Questions? Let us know. Interested in being a Fall Crawl sponsor? We’ve got space. You can reach us at email@example.com.
