Adopt-A-Street Cleanup on The Plaza
September 9 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
PMNA has adopted The Plaza, and we’ll be out cleaning up the street from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9. We’d love to have as many helpers from the neighborhood as possible.
This quarter’s clean-up will be a community-wide affair, with neighbors in Belmont, Chantilly and elsewhere doing their own clean-ups, too. Afterward, we’ll all meet at Catawba Brewing in Belmont from noon to 2 p.m. for some drinks and snacks and cool prizes — all free for volunteers. It’s a great way to give back to the neighborhood and meet some awesome folks from Plaza Midwood and the surrounding communities!
We’ll meet at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at the corner of The Plaza and Belle Terre. PMNA will provide all materials needed for the clean-up, along with some morning coffee. We’ll go from Parkwood Ave. to Independence, then head over to Catawba for a cool beverage and some socializing.
Big thanks to Kennedy Homes of the Carolinas for helping sponsor our clean-up festivities! Looking to buy or sell a home in Plaza Midwood? Kennedy Homes is a big supporter of PMNA and would love your business.
After cleaning up The Plaza, we’ll be meeting up with folks from Belmont Community Charlotte, NC, Chantilly Neighborhood Association & Keep Charlotte Beautiful for a fun time at Catawba Brewing Co. – Charlotte, NC… We’ll have FREE food from Fresh Med, a few complimentary drinks and a raffle with great prizes for ALL VOLUNTEERS who help with cleanup. Can’t wait to see y’all there!

Hope to see you all there!
